Frequently Asked Questions About Our Vehicle Hire Services

All of our prices at Charter Vehicle Hire in Cardiff include comprehensive insurance with a maximum of 200 miles per day and 3000 per month.
A £500 insurance excess applies to all rentals, you can choose to take the collision damage waiver option, this will reduce the excess to £200, this is available for £12 per day
Small, Medium and standard cars
For hire of cars with ratings small, medium and standard hirers/drivers must be a minimum of 25 years of age, have held a full clean licence for the past 2 years and had no accidents in the last 3 years.
4x4 and executive
Cars rated 4x4 and Executive or higher minimum of 30 years of age, also maybe subject to special conditions.
Minibus (9 seats and over including the driver
Hirers/ Drivers must be aged 25 or over and must have held a full licence for at least 2 years.
NB - Vehicles with less than 9 seats, including the driver's seat, are considered cars.
Van and Luton box van
Vans and Luton hirer/drivers must be a minimum age of 25 years of age, have held a full clean licence for the past 2 years and had no accidents in the past 3 years.
